Over 70 riders from all parts of the State competed for over $1000 in cash and prizes. John Brock fresh from his win in the Garwoods Bakery race last weekend proved once again that his great fitness would prevail as he crossed the line 100m.in front of a 14 strong bunch that had been chasing him for over 20klm.Ulverstone rider Shane Cresswell brother of Tas.football Hall of Fame member Darren also had a great day in winning the bunch sprint from fellow Coaster Tim Hicks. Brock is now looking forward to the Lumley Ins. National Titles where he will be a major chance in all of his events. Hobart rider Dylan Forbes led home a large bunch of backmarkers about 2mins. behind the winner. Next race is Sunday August 15, 25km Time Trial at Evandale starting at 10am.
