• Di Luca won the field sprint behind Samoilau, who did not threaten his overall lead.
• Di Luca holds the overall lead in what could be his last race for a couple years if he is found guilty of doping.
• Di Luca maintained the lead in the overall, and now has two team-mates just below in second and third.
