• Joost Posthuma (Rabobank) drinks up after taking an impressive 29 second victory, and the general classification lead.
• Dutch rider Joost Posthuma (Rabobank) powers to a convincing win, and the overall lead.
• Swiss rider Michael Schär (Astana) took the third place on the podium, setting a time 32 seconds slower than Posthuma.
• American Bobby Julich (Team CSC) took second on classification after finishing runner up in the time trial.
