Kirsipuu triumphs

Jaan Kirsipuu (Credit Agricole) has taken his first victory of 2006 by winning the second stage of the Etoile de Bessèges. Kirsipuu beat Stéphane Bonsergent (Bretagne-Jean Floc'H) and Alexandre Usov (Ag2R Prevoyance) in a bunch sprint at the end of the 149 km stage between Nîmes and Saint-Ambroix. The race lead remained with Frederik Willems (Chocolade Jacques), who has 26 seconds advantage over Preben Van Hecke (Davitamon - Lotto) and Thomas Voeckler (Bouygues Telecom).
