Matveyev repeats as Ukrainians dominate Firenez-Pistoia

2004 winner Sergiy Matveyev (Ceramica Panaria) has repeated his success in Firenze-Pistoia, the closing race of the European UCI calendar. Matveyev preceded his compatriot Andry Grivko (Domina Vacanze) home by 10 seconds, clocking 41'18 to average nearly 48 km/h over the 33 km distance. In third place was Grivko's teammate Giovanni Visconti, with Marco Pinotti (Saunier Duval), another Ukrainian Oleksandr Kvachuk (Lampre-Caffita), and Andrea Peron (CSC) rounding out the top six.
