Kopp takes canny win in Düren

Former Telekom rider David Kopp (Lamonta) has won the Rund um Duren, out-sprinting Stefan Cohnen (Comnet Senges) after the two broke away in the closing stages of the 152km race. Phil Thaux (Cyclingnews.com/Down Under) got away from a four-rider chasing group to take third.

It was Kopp's second win of the season, after the second stage of the Giro del Capo in South Africa in March.
