3rd Paris-Corrèze as World's tune upThe three day Paris-Corrèze stage race, organised by 1983 and 1984 Tour de France winner Laurent Fignon, will take place this weekend south of the French capital. This year's race will be the third edition of the event, and will serve as one of the final reference points for selection of the France's elite men's road race team for the world championships in Hamilton, Canada next month. Both previous winners of the event, Thor Hushovd (Crédit Agricole) and defending champion Baden Cooke (FDJeux.com) will be on the start line Friday for stage 1. The toughest day of racing will likely be the last, as Sunday's final stage takes the riders from Besse to Ussel and over four categorized climbs, with a bonus sprint thrown in for good measure between the final summit ad the finish in Ussel.
