Australian Criterium Champion Lizzie Williams (VIS) strikes a pose as she adjusts a new helmet. Lizzie rode in the front group all day and finished with a well earned 2nd.
Newly crowned Victorian Criterium Champion Kirsty Bortolin (The Freedom Machine) on the start line. Kirsty couldn't climb with the 5 leaders, but lead the chasing bunch home.
Kathy Watt, Road Race Gold Medalist at the Barcelona Olympics, made her return to racing at the Tour. Unfortunately she fell heavily in the first lap and finished well back in the field.
Simon Clarke was one of many riders to fall on the frosty roads, but chased back to the leaders carrying the evidence of his cross country escapade
Men's stage winner William Walker (VIS) was another to end up in a ditch, but put in an awesome ride to regain the leaders and take out the race
A break of five women went clear through the hills on the second lap and extended their lead before fighting out the win
Sean Finning (VIS) was one of the early leaders, but his break was reeled in on the third lap
Jessica Ridder (Bathurst CC) takes out the Women's race from Lizzie Willaims (VIS) and Under 19 winner Kate Nicholls (St George CC)
