International Cycling Classic/Superweek - NEEastern Wisconsin, USA, July 11-27, 2003Main Page Results Previous Day Next Day Day 15 - July 25: Bank One Food Folks & SpokesCarney sprints to win in KenoshaThe Bank One Food Folks & Spokes race in Kenosha started with a familiar sight - Schroeder Iron joining a powerful breakaway in the early laps. This time, it was Pete Knudsen joining Jonas Carney (Prime Alliance), Gustavo Artacho (Colavita-Bolla), and Jackson Stewart (Ofoto-Lombardi) in a break that went on to lap the field before the race was even halfway completed. Schroeder Iron effectively patrolled the field for the remainder of the race to prevent any other breakaways, setting up a field sprint in the final lap that saw Carney unleash his trademark powerful sprint to take the win over Stewart and Artacho. Viktor Rapinski continues to own the yellow jersey and Frank Pipp continues to rack up sprint points to retain the red jersey.
