Stage 2 - August 28: Zilina - Banska Stiavnica, 178.1 km
- Matej Jurco (Slovakian National MTB team) wears the yellow jersey of race leader after winning the first stage around Zilina, where Jurco, Dawid Krupa (Legia) and Massimo Amichetti (Formaggi) broke away in the final kilometres.
- Tomasz Brozyna (CCC Polsat) rode well to finish in the top 10 on stage two.
- Patrick Holsche (Winfix Techem) had a forgettable day in the saddle on the stage to Banska Stiavnica, losing almost 15 minutes.
- Matej Jurco (Slovakian National MTB team) starts to struggle as the riders at the head of the peloton put down the hammer.
- Luis Felipe Laverde Jimenez (Formaggi Pinzolo Fiave') finished in a group of 15 riders with overnight leader Matej Jurco, 49 seconds down on winner Cezary Zemana (Mroz).
- Stefan Cohnen (Team Comnet Senges) rides in a group which finished more than 10 minutes down on Zamana.
- With Massimiliano Mori in the break of three containing Zamana, the Formaggi Pinzolo Fiave' riders were content to ride in the next group on the road.
- Cezary Zamana (Action Nvidia Mroz) powers on the pave, with breakaway companions Slawomir Kohut (CCC Polsat) and Massimiliano Mori (Formaggi Pinzolo Fiave') in tow.
- A winning combination - the ripped pins of stage winner Cezary Zamana (Action Nvidia Mroz).
- Cezary Zamana (Action Nvidia Mroz) stands tall on the podium as the winner of stage 2.
- Zamana slips comfortably into the race leader's yellow jersey.
Stage 3 - August 29: Banska Stiavnica - Strbske Pleso, 221.0 km
- Massimo Amichetti (Formaggi Pinzolo Fiave') on his way to a podium place on the third stage of the Tour de Slovaquie.
- Swedish champion Jonas Holmkvist (Team Bianchi Scandinavia) takes the lid off on the road to Strbske Pleso.
- Jonas Ljungblad's (Team Bianchi Scandinavia) stocky physique wasn't suited to the hilly parcours.
- The peloton containing race leader Cezary Zamana (Action Nvidia Mroz).
- Luke Roberts (Team Comnet Senges) had a difficult day in the saddle, finishing over two minutes down.
- Daniel Vobora (PSK Remerx) appeared to be on the attack, when in actual fact the Czech rider was struggling to finish within the time limit.
- Sebastian Skiba (Legia) on his way to the stage win on the climb to Strebske Pleso, becoming the third race leader in as many days.
