Boogerd wins in Boxmeer

The Criterium in Boxmeer, The Netherlands was yet again a huge success. Favourite Michael Boogerd took the win before two other Dutch cycling stars Servais Knaven and Bart Voskamp.

The public also warmly greeted Erik Zabel, who was interviewed on the podium. The commentator remarked, while pointing out the Telekom outfit, "Erik, that is the wrong colour jersey you're wearing today!"

Erik laughed and quick-wittedly replied "That's because I lent the Green one to someone for a year!"
