This is Jaermann's 3rd win this week ! He won the GP Plouay in France on
Sunday - a race which will feature in the World Cup next year - then he won
the second of the Trittico Premondiale races on Wednesday. Then yesterday
he outsprinted Colage, who is no mean finisher himself, to win this race.

among other things that Melcior Mauri is the great favourite for the
totally flat 7 km prologue on Saturday, in Zaragoza. It also comments the
fact that Fernando Escartin of Mapei will not take part in the race. He is
leaving Mapei because he thinks that they have offered him too little money
for next year's contract, 35.000.000 pesetas. Kelme has offered him
50.000.000 pesetas and Banesto is said to offer even more. So Mapei won't
let him ride the race.
