Sorensen not ready for Paris-Tours

Adri van Houwelingen, Team leader of Rabobank, isn't sure whether Rolf Sorensen can start in Paris-Tours on October 5. "He has resumed training last week but has very little condition left. It will be a pity if he can't start because he is in the leading position in the World Cup."

[Bill notes: But read below, as the Danes have selected him for the Worlds just 7 days later.]

Time trial U/23:

Michael Steen Nielsen.

Marcussen is not sure, whether Sørensen is going to participate due to his hand injury, acquired in the Tour of the Netherlands. "I have talked with Sørensen, and it does not look good", Marcussen added. I looks better with Riis, as he has been training on a low scale in Switzerland, aiming at the World Championship. Riis expects to participate, but according to Marcussen, it is an open question, whether he will be on top.
