Ivanov Signs for TVM
Lada Samara rider Sergei Ivanov, second overall, stage winner and
winner of the climber's and points jerseys in the Tour de l'Avenir,
has signed a two-year contract for 1997 with the Dutch TVM team. Noted
as a good all-rounder, Ivanov is reputed for his dare-devil descending

downhill in the mountain stages of the Tour de l'Avenir.

Guimard's Cofidis team. After a good performance in the Regiones
Wallonnes race last month, Millar was approached by several French
