Pacific Power-Commonwealth Bank Cycling Classic
Stage 5 - ITT
I have taken some photos on my digital camera of
this stage. They are not that great but they are the best and only ones in
town and the world!
Early Report
The stage was held along the foreshore of Newcastle beach and finished with a
winding, grinding climb up to the top of King Edward Park after 3.6 kms. The
ITT began with a gale force tail wind, but riders had to ride into it as they
came around the bluff and wound up the hill.
