Men's and Women's ITT

Perth, November 5, 1997

Jonathan Hall won the Men's ITT easily and has confirmed his status as a favourite to win the Oceania Games ITT in New Zealand which are to be held later in the month. In recent years, Hall has been dedicated to the duathlon but with such great form and the 2000 Olympics coming, he has a big choice to make.

Anna Wilson from Victoria easily won the Women's ITT when she defeated Kathy Watt. Watt has held a strangle hold on this title in the last 5 years having won it 4 times. She has been injured during the last year and fell badly during the World's Road Race in San Sebastian.

Wilson finished 10th in the Olympic ITT in Atlanta last year.
