Miguel Arroyo new leader

The second category climb of Vergel de la Sierra, 31 kms from the finish, split the 144-strong peloton apart. The Colombians from Manzana-Postobon showed their strenght by having four riders in the top five and winning the stage and three riders in the top five on GC.
