Tour of Mexico - Stage 10
German Frank Augustin wins 10th stage
After a rest day the peloton in Ruta Mexico moved on with a 149 km long
stage between Zamora and Morelia. On this stage Mexican Jesus Zarate (El
Tigre) made a long breakaway, 125 km, and caught with 3 km to go. He had a
maximum lead of 3 min 10 secs after 110 km, but it quickly melted away when
the Colombians started chasing hard on the hilly run-in to Morelia.
