Giro d'Italia 1996 was presented in Milan, Saturday (11/11). It will start
in Athens May 18 with three stages in Greece and finish in Milan June 9.
22 stages, 3.951 km, 6 stages in the high mountains and only one individual
time trial. Besides Greece the race will go into Switzerland and France,
with another try to run the stage to Briancon, cut short by an avalanche
1995.
