Italian
cyclist Davide Rebellin, from French Team La Francaise
des Jeux, was the winner of the 23rd edition of the
prestigious French race, Trofeo Scalatore after
finishing alone at the top of the Sannois. Davide
Rebellin, achieves his first win of the season,
covering the 87.1 kms. of the race in 2:15:05, 23
seconds less than Swiss Mauro Gianetti who came in
second. The race was tough and very active, with only
40 riders finishing of the 96 which started. Rebellin
cemented his win on the last of 12 laps that the
riders had to ride on the circuit of Argenteuil
Sannois and although he had the company of his
teammate Gianetti for awhile, Rebellin was able to
leave him and Frenchman Roux behind in the last
section.
