Progress on Wilfried Nelissen - It is looking goodWalter Planckaert, the manager of Willie (the Limburg short for Wilfried) has said that Nelissen is making such strong progress that he should be ready for competition by the end of June. "On Friday, he has trained for 6 hours and has a little pain in his knee." said Planckaert.Naturally, everyone wants Willie here but we will not interfere with his training. Wilfried has said that he has stopped taking his antiinflammatory medicine and is not missing their effect. Nelissen will ride his first race with the Palman's team towards the end of June. The race will be a kermesse. We will first sit around the table and make some plans. We will pick an easy race without too many corners and a good road surface.
