McAuley and Sweet share the honours in Stage Eight

Richie McAuley of Ireland and Jay Sweet of Australia shared the honours in Stage Eight of the Tour of Langkawi from Kuantan to Kuala Terengganu yesterday. McAuley won Phase One from Kuantan to Paka when he clocked 2'27:35 to take the RM8,000 top prize.

As for Sweet, he emerged victorious in Phase Two from Paka to Kuala Terengganu, clocking 2'11:56 to pick up the RM8,000 top prize.
