Summary of changes

Italy's Michele Bartoli rose to third in the Internationale Cycling Union standings published on Monday, pushing Bjarne Riis of Denmark back to fourth. Another Italian, Alberto Elli, rose 11 places to break into the top ten. Laurent Jalabert of France remains in top spot, just ahead of Alex Zulle of Switzerland.
