Cesar Salazar new leader after time trial

Joselin Saavedra (Colombia-Cadafe) won the individual time trial of 22,7 km in the Vuelta al Tachira by covering the distance in 30 minutes and 45 seconds (44,292 km/h).

Cesar Salazar (Venezuela-Loteria del Tachira) came in nine seconds later and took over the lead in the general classification. Previous leader Raul Gomez, Colombia, finished in 15th place, 2.11 behind the stage winner.
