Abdoejaparov for a year at Lotto

On Friday (7/12), Lotto sport director Jean-Luc Vandenbroucke has comfirmed that he has signed Djamolidine Abdoejaparov. The Uzbek will take the place of Wilfried Nelissen.

The 32 year-old Adu has a one year contract with an option for another season. He will be present on the stage at Combloux next week when the team presentation takes place. This year he was in the colours of the Italian team Refin-Mobilvetta and won four races, including the 14th stage in the Tour of France on July 14 in Tulle.

The Frenchmen Laurent Madouas and Benont Salmon and Belgian Jo Planckaert will also race with Lotto for the coming season.
