Nico Emonds breaks 100km record

Belgian rider Nico Emonds broke the world 100km record at the Manchester velodrome on Tuesday (December 10). In front of an audience of four, Emonds finished the distance in 2.02.27 (48.935kph) taking the record from US rider Kent Bostik whose time was 2.09.11 (48.443). Emonds was scheduled to attack his own Belgian hour record of 53.301km today (Thursday).
