VELONEWS recognises VeloNet
Activism Still Has Clout against Capitalists
Dear VeloNet List Members,
At the risk of annoying some of you with yet another mass mailing, I
thought most of you would like to know the latest good word on the
VELONEWS/VeloNet issue. After all, the following unequivocal
statement is the direct result of over one thousand letters sent to
VELONEWS by VeloNet subscribers.
In the December 11 issue of VELONEWS (Page 41), the editors voted
themselves the "The Darth Vader Cyber Domination Award" and wrote:
... Floods -- we're talking FLOODS -- of e-mail reminded us
that we had over-stepped ourselves. To make a long story
short, VeloNet will stay VeloNet and we learned a lesson.
Once again, many, many thanks for coming to the rescue. Here's to a
New Year with less litigation and more tailwinds!
P.S. By the time you read this note, the alias
defenders-of-velonet@cycling.org will no longer exist, so there
is no need to unsubscribe yourself from the "list".
Cheers,
