Jalabert injured
Laurent Jalabert sprained a finger in his left hand in a fall while out
training in his hometown Mazamet in southern France.
Monte Carlo-bound
French rider Jean-Philippe Dojwa (ex-GAN) has signed for Monaco-based team Aki

VDB seeks permanent relief
1995 Paris--Brussels winner Franck Vandenbroucke is to be treated by Professor
Muller of Munich in the hope of a permanent cure for the knee problems that have
periodically afflicted him.
Jalabert falls in training
Laurent Jalabert fell while out training on Saturday near his home town of
Mazamet. The injury was
limited to a sprained finger but his hand was put in plaster and he scratched
from a cyclo-cross race he was to have taken part in near Toulouse on Sunday.
