ReportsThe favorites were of-course the professional riders like, Jesper Skibby (TVM), Nikolai Bo Larsen (Amore Vita), Peter Meinert (US Postal)Jesper Skibby and Meinert were dominating the race, but then Skibby abanded due to stomach troubles, and the Armature riders were all over Meinert because he showed a lot of power early in the race. So in the final Frank Hoej (Colstrop) and Soeren Pedersen (Tonix-????) escaped. After the race Meinert said that he was happy that the race was won by two professional riders. The European Champion and Tour de France Mountain bike winner Lennie Kristensen came in as number seven. Number 5 Nicki Soerensen and 9 Michael Steen Nielsen are Sub 23 riders. Michael Steen Nielsen is a very good ITT rider. He`s main goal this season is of-course the Worlds in San Sebastian. Nicki Soerensen might be riding for the Danish Team Home Jack & Jones next year.
