Stage Two

The second stage of the Teleflex Tour was won by Jans Koerts from Palmans equipe, after a decision of the jury, after Australian, Robbie Mc Ewen from Rabobank made a wrong movement in the mass sprint. The stage went from Den Bosch to Eindhoven. The third stage was a time trial, won by Tyler Hamilton from US Postal before his teammate Nate Reiss, third was the Dutch amateur Patrick van Dijken.

Stage 4

Dutch amateur Davy Dubbeldam has won stage 4 of the Teleflextoer, 173 km from Valkenburg to Herve in Belgium.

Second was Dainis Ozols (Let) and third Jan Boven (Rabobank). Robbie McEwen won the peloton sprint for fourth place. No change in the overall standings.

Stage 5 - Wurseln-Wurseln (Ger) 168,5 km in 4.17.46

The stage went from Wurseln to Wurseln (Ger), many climbs over 168,5 km. The two teammates Silovs (Let-ama) and Dainis Ozols (Let-ama, expro Novell) and John van den Akker (Ned-Foreldorado-Golff) escaped. Hans Pijpers (Ned-ama) who tried to join them stuck at only 10 metres.

After that try he had to let the three frontriders go. In the last two km Ozols tried to escape, but John van den Akker caught him. As you can guess, after this attempt it was Silovs who escaped and John has to do his work again.John was jammed between two teammates. He finished in the same time as the winner and Ozols finished third at 0.02. Mc Ewen (Aus-Rabo) was 4th at 0.08, Nate Reiss (US-USpostal) 5th.
