Ronde van het Mergelland - Netherlands

This race is run in Limburg, which is in the south of the Netherlands. The starting point is Eijsden which is essentially the last town in the NL before one enters Belgium and into Vise, just north of Luik (Liege). To the east, are the Dutch "Alps", where several very steep but not very long hills can be found. The Amstel Gold race goes over this terrain later in the month.

Results

Lucien de Louw won the Ronde van het Mergelland in Eijsden. After the 180km race, he had a 2 second gap on Jan Boven. Raymond Meijs was third at 54 seconds.
