Day 3 - March 7

Rain disrupts third night

The third night of the Moscow Six ended prematurely after rain leaking through the roof of the indoor track made it too dangerous for the riders to race. The problems should be solved by tomorrow, according to race director Henrik Elmgreen.

At the start of the night's racing there was some bad luck for the Swiss team of Franco Marvulli.Alexander Aeschbach when Aeschbach crashed and hit his head. He was taken to hospital for examination and broke a tooth. His partner meanwhile won a lot of the sprints and found himself in the overall lead at the end of the night.
