Steve Williams had a very strong race, contesting every sprint having caught B Grade with six laps to go and trying his luck to solo on the last lap, only to be run down 500m out.
The sprinters lined up and Steve Woodridge proved the strongest, leading from the front.
Coming into form is Anthony Spurgeon who gave everything to improve his position and spent an hour post-race trying to recover from his efforts. Must be getting old.
