O'Neill clear victor in TT

Queensland's Nathan O'Neill confirmed his status as Australia's top cyclist against the clock, with a clear win in the men's 39 kilometre time trial championships. O'Neill, who rides professionally for Ceramiche Panaria, beat home ACT rider Michael Rogers by 42.53 seconds, with Queenslander Ben Day finishing third at 2'12.20 behind O'Neill. New South Wales rider Jonathan Davis placed eleventh in the event, which was good enough to give him the U23 title.
