Bernucci wins Giro del Valdarno

Italian national team member, Lorenzo Bernucci (Zoccorinese Vellutex Palazzago), has won the 24th edition of the Giro Ciclistico Internazionale del Valdarno, disputed over 171 kilometres with 190 starters. Bernucci's final attack occurred with 10 kilometres to go, and he soloed in to win by 20 seconds to Estonian Allan Oras (Bedogni) and Ukranian teammate Yaroslav Popovych.
