Veterans Day, with the host club's Bill Butterworth taking the 2-up sprint over Paul Holdsworth.
Bill was active in the earlier break of 7 riders which was brought back at half-distance before slipping away from the field again in the latter half. Shortly before the bunch wound up the speed, Bill attacked with Paul for company. They held off the field, with Harry Web jumping away to take third place.
