Round 1 RTTC-Rudy Project Time Trial Series, Round 1Bovey Tracey, Devon, May 13, 2001 ReportIn the first major time trial clash of the 2001 season, national 25-mile champion Stuart Dangerfield won the hilly 30-mile event beating British Best All-Rounder Michael Hutchinson by 1'01. Dangerfield took 1'07'09 to cover the tough 30 miles while Hutchinson, unbeaten this year, finished with 1.08.10. Third place went to Espoir Mark Turnbull, home with 1'12'32. Dangerfield, who spent the winter months in Australia, where he won seven events, won the season-long Rudy Project series last year and says he intends to "do the same" this year.
