Evans. This event, known as the Bob Cook Memorial/ MT Evans Hill Climb, ascends North America's highest paved road which ends just above 14,000 ft. The lower slopes of the climb were controlled with the help of Mercury men Will Frischkorn and Phil Zajicek. Chris Wherry then took over and set a pace that whittled the front group down to just five. At that point Moninger attacked and rode solo for the final ten miles, taking the victory by over two minutes from Navigator's Brendon Vesty.
