More than 80 riders raced at the monthly Robina Criterium on the Gold Coast today. Some of the Gold Coast's Internationals raced with other visiting Internationals but it was local lad Jonathon Cantwell (Goldstars) who, after making several attempts to break away with others, took out the final sprint to the line. He was followed closely by Jason Phillips, who is home from Europe, and then came UK based Tim Morely.
Riders are reminded that Track racing is proving ever so popular on Friday evenings at the Geoff Reardon Velodrome at Nerang and that all riders are invited to attend even if you are not racing yet.
Also do not forget the Brisbane Bronco's will be holding their Open Track Carnival with the "Jupiters Wheelrace" on Saturday the 8th December and that entries close on Wednesday 5th December. An entry form can be downloaded from their website at http://www.broncoscycling.org/
