They managed to increase their gap during the 20 laps of the six km circuit. With two laps to go Stefan Adamsson attacked with Belgian Lommel and Lithuanian Zubrovas and the trio managed to keep the rest of the group off. Adamsson started the sprint but nevertheless won it by a bike length. This was the seventh victory this season for the Swedish Champion who is in Belgium to prepare for the U23 World Championships.
