In comparison to the relatively dispute-free Massachussetts race, the Dayton Pro-Am was completed amidst a wave of controversy surrounding the lack of officials, a variety of logistical snafus, and other alleged improprieties. However, it WAS completed, with Saturn's Anna Wilson and Eric Wohlberg of Shaklee emerging as the overall winners. The stages

Frank McCormack (USA) Saturn Day 2 - July 8: CriteriumIn the women's event, Wilson again emerged victorious, after igniting the three-up break with Gariepy and Emery that would ultimately decide the overall standings. Meanwhile, Wohlberg's Shaklee teammates kept things together in the men's race, but were unable to stop the Navigators team from going one-two in the stage, as Franky Van Haesebroucke and Vassili Davidenko schooled the rest of the field. Vassili Davidenko (Ukr) Navigators Day 3 - July 9: Road raceWith the overall victory hanging in the balance, the Saturn and Shaklee teams were prepared for anything...and it showed in the results. Despite a number of attacks by the AutoTrader.com squad, Saturn kept it all together for the finish, where Nicole Reinhart (Saturn) took the stage from Charles Schwab's Laura Van Gilder and Wilson, while Tina Mayolo lost both a shot at the stage and the opportunity to reclaim the Saturn U.S. Pro Tour lead when she nearly collided with an errant police barricade. Overall, Wilson took the victory from Gariepy, with Emery in third. Meanwhile, the men's road race was decided amongst the members of a six-rider break that included two Saturn riders and race leader Wohlberg. At the finish, it was kilo rider-turned-roadie Erin Hartwell (Saturn) who took the stage ahead of Vassili Davidenko (Navigators).
