Night 2 - January 14, 2000

A huge crowd of 23,400 visitors watched the racing on the second evening of the Bremen Six. Two pairs are in the lead after the second night racing. Swiss pair Risi/Betschart are narrowly in front with 182 points, and Bremen local Andreas Kappes and his Italian partner Silvio Martinello are in second on 175 points. 1 lap down are Adriano Baffi/Marco Villa (Italy) and Jimmi Madsen (Den)/Scott McGrory (Aus).

The first hunt was run over 30 minutes and Kappes/Martinello dominated. In the second hunt, over 50 minutes, Swiss Risi/Betschart were the victors. A bad crash just before midnight took out Australian Scott McGrory when he slipped near the start line. He was taken away for a while and examined by doctors, however he was able to resume racing later on.
