Night 3 - January 8, 2000

By the end of the third night in Berlin, there was once again a reversal at the top of the leaderboard. Italians Martinello/Villa succeeded in regaining the lap on Swiss Betschart/Risi, finishing ahead on the night with 246 points, and they maintained their 30+ point gap on Kappes and Pollack, who are now in second.

However, the Australian-German combination of Scott McGrory and Robert Bartko are still hovering just one lap down, with 195 points. They are clearly in a position to threaten the overall lead with three nights remaining.
