Nijs finishes the year strongly

Sven Nijs' form is improving, well in time for the World Championships it seems after his performance in the 7th round of the SuperPrestige series in Diegem. Nijs was at his best again, beating Erwin Vervecken and Mario de Clercq in a race that ended in a 'bunch sprint' for third.

Although series leader Richard Groenendaal could only manage 6th in Diegem, he clinched the title from Peter Van Santvliet as he now has a 51 point lead with just one race left.
