Results and Reports for August 25-27Scandinavia Post Cup #4
Post Cup #4- NEHammel, Denmark, August 27, 2000 Of 109 riders only 20 survived twelve climbs over Pøt Mølle at Hammel. Team Fakta and Memorycard dominated the race as expected, the latter team with Bjarne Riis for t6he first time in the car. On the last lap Danny Jonasson got away with team mate Nicki Sørensen and Memorycard's Nicolaj Bo Larsen. On the final climb Jonasson attacked while Sørensen sat back and let Larsen do the hard work in the headwind and he came to the finish only four seconds short of the winner Jonasson. Team Fakta's Michael Skelde leads the overall classification with a 40 points margin to Memorycard's René Jørgensen so there still a theoretical chance for big brother to win the Cup in the final race at Holbæk September 10.
