48th Circuit de la Sarthe - 2.4France, April 4-7, 2000The Stages
PreviewThis stage race is held along the Sarthe river in the Le Mans area, more famous for the 24 hour car race in June. Sometimes even the racing circuit has been used in the cycle race. The race often attracts good riders, although Norwegian Steffen Kjaergaard was a sensation last year. It is often a race for sprinters where the finishing ITT decides the final outcome. Memorycard has a strong outfit as well as Crédit Acricole. The two contenders for a Tour de France ticket, Jean Delatour and Bonjour also have good line ups with Brochard and Simon as captains.
