Preview

ONCE will be the team to beat with Olano as well as Jalabert on the squad. Telekom's Paris-Nice winning revelation Klöden did well also in the Catalan week and Vinokourov is longing for his first win with the Germans.

Others to look out for: Rebellin in Liquigas, JC Dominguez in Vitalicio and of course Jimenez and Zülle, who accidentally won the Volta ao Algarve, unless they are merely warming up for the bigger events. One who is: Lance Armstrong, US Postal. Or isn't he? The seventh place in the bunch sprint of the GP Miguel Indurain showed that he wants to be where the fun is.
