Belarus rider, Alexander Usow (Phonak Hearing Systems) was narrowly beaten in the 108th edition of the GP Lac Leman by Latvian neo, Andris Nauduzas (Selle Italia) the final sprint. Taking third was an U23 rider, Martin Bolt (Seat-Kona), in a surprisingly good performance.
A group of riders attacked with 70 kilometres to go, including Marcel Strauss (Post Swiss) and Alexandre Moos (KIA Villiger), however they could not manage to work together and were caught at
Céligny, 17 km before the end.
