Post Danmark Løbet, Cat 1.5

Report: By riding defensively in the last race, Post Danmark Løbet around Horsens, Team Home Jack and Jones won the Post Cup 1999 for Michael Blaudzun. All Blaudzun had to do to win the cup in the final 184 km race was to keep an eye on Chicky World's Allan Johansen. And he did. Fourteen riders, including Blaudzun and Johansen, got away at halfway. Then, at 50 kms to go there were nine left who were working well together until 15 kms to go, when they started testing each other. In the finale, Danny Jonasson, Acceptcard and "Chicken" Bjarke Nielsen got away, and in the sprint Jonasson was the fastest. Allan Johansen attacked from the rest of the group in the final kilometres and came in alone as third. Blaudzun was seventh, which was quite sufficient for winning the cup overall as well as 15 000 kroner (about 2000 USD).
