Casino's Aus wins GP d'Isbergues

After joining six other riders in a decisive attack 49 km. from the finish, Casino's Lauri Aus won the 53rd Grand Prix d'Isbergues.

The attackers, who included also Scott Sunderland, took advantage of a particularly disorganized peloton to make their move as the course turned onto its final circuit.

Cedric Vasseur, a local, tried to escape on his own to the delight of the crowd, but failed. Aus took advantage of a moment of hesitation in the break to go off with 15 km to the the finish to win on his own.
